That's if I can ever get into my own doctors BM. She is either fully booked up or away on holiday :/
I am going to rest today and try and get myself right for tomorrow.
Carrie at our Docs if you ring the minute the open you usually get an appointment the same day other wise its a 2 week wait. Hope you soon feel better. xx
Jack that's always good motivation for a 14 year old
Try swimming Carrie! I have no trouble sleeping if I've gone swimming.
Son was supposed to be revising yesterday afternoon for his chemistry exam this morning but insisted he needed fresh air! He cycled 50mile, came home shattered and promptly fell asleep for 3 hours yesterday evening. I didn't once 'catch' him revising this exam lark is really stressing me out!
Wet and miserable here today. It's been such a different growing year. Yesterday morning we had a heavy frost, my plants don't look like they're putting on much growth. Some of my toms are still tiny
Man what a difference in two days, 100+ in the g/h yesterday, doubt its over 50 now lol, not that im going to trapse up there, its chucking it down here too Bigmally.
Hazel and Bren, yea you cant blame the lad for earning a few bob, plus his grandads back is pretty wrecked so all good.
Really dark and grey here, rain is on the way. Typically was beautiful yesterday when I was at school. Did some gardening there but it's not very relaxing with 30 9 and 10 year olds. Plus side they didn't weed out the carrot seedlings!
Bore da, Hazel and all.
Its bucketing down here and has been all morning.
Never mind, I have a little job to do in the GH - potting on 48 "free" perennial plugs that have just arrived. Nice mix too - Lavender, Sweet Williams, Verbena Bonariensis and Echinacea.
Popped into little Morris's yesterday and they were selling off trays of bedding plants for 9p!! In need of rather a lot of TLC but 7 trays of tagetes, petunias, begonias and fuchsias are in recovery in the GH and looking a lot better today. My garden will be sooooo floriferous this year
Stay dry everyone - have a good day!
Oh I'm excited - it's raining and I have no where to put the washing, the dog has a pongy wind problem and the subsidence cracks argued overnight and have now grown further apart but.....Last week I contacted someone on Freegle who was offering a 4 large chicken hen house - someone was supposed to collect it at the weekend so I was unlucky but.....I got an email an hour ago asking if I would like the hen house as it had not been collected.....sent email back with phone number and offering Mr Lump as a collection driver.......just waiting for an email or a call.....whey hey more chickens.
I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work. Thomas A. Edison

Lumpy, I had a similar experience with a Freegle MP3 player yesterday. It wasn't picked up so re-offered to me. Its a neat little thing that I spent all last evening playing with.................and can't get it to work
I'm sured your chicken coop will work a lot better
Morning all! It's cold and wet here today, with more rain forecast for the rest of the day. Not a day for gardening, although maybe I can find something to sow in the greenhouse.
Hope it's nicer where you are!

I would ensure it's been pressure washed and creosoted inside and out and let dry before you get your chickens in there. Often people get rid of the houses as they can't get rid of the mites...they can lives for a very long time without food
