A little light rain over night but still fair short of whats needed over the plot. Got the obligatory shopping task today, sure the the OH only takes me as a pack mule!

Morning all. Didn't get up 'til 9am as one of my neighbours had a very noisy party last night. I'm not going to complain as they don't make a habit of it. I couldn't get to sleep because of it so ended up curling up on the sofa. It was still going on at 3 am when I got up to use the loo. I was awake again at 5 am and they had gone indoors (probably because it was persisting down) so I went back up to bed and slept 'til 9.

I have a lot of work to do today so I'm having a quiet cuppa before I start. Then I'm going out to lunch with my son and his um, was ex, but I think they're trying to make a go of it.

Morning all, we had a little rain earlier this morning, not really enough to do much good, but I suppose every little does help. The sun is now out and that means .... yes ... lawn mowing. Whoo hoo! It's like house work isn't it? You do it carefully and thoroughly and then 6-7 days later, you have to do it again. Enjoy your day.

Morning all. Dry, bright and breezy here this morning. We may get a shower later but I don't expect it to do much.

Yesterday's post-cricket hangover meant I didn't get a lot of gardening done, so I need to put in a decent shift today, frighten the weeds a bit and sow some green manure where the onions were. I'll see how Winter Tares get on.

Morning all!

I'm just back from a jog round the Sutton Park - I had to stick to the trails as the park is host to a triathlon today. I cheered on the cyclists whenever I reached a bit of the race route.

Now off to pick up mum for a trip to the garden centre.

Just paint me smug.

Morning all! I'm in sunny Wales on puncture duty for the OH cycling race. 25miles, he just got off the start line. This place is full of men in tight get up - not all as skinny as Chris Frome (sp)

Afternoon peeps!

I bought a couple of bags of compost from the garden centre, chucked 'em on the bench to use later, then nipped up to the shops. Got back and found Domino cat rather disgruntled to be relegated to here....

Hubby was looking for some wood in the loft today, and decided to bring out four filthy bags out of about a hundred whilst he was there.
Found my crockpot and an unused Thermos big drink cooler thing. All cleaned up and charity shop bound in the morning. I hope .......
I have got tons of toms, none of them even considering going red. Not even in the lovely south facing garden we give them

I'm back! I had thoughts on the way home of having a huge weeding session but on arrival the boys were starving. They thought they'd wait for me to cook! Yes, right pair of lazy b@ggers! I'm really loosing patience. I was I was brave enough to chuck them out for a week!
OH says I'll miss them terribly when they go you've got to be kidding! I can't wait!
