    Evening peeps!

Been round to mum's for tea as big sis is stopping for the weekend - we looked through the photos and found one us when small children. Hahaha! Just off to the 'post a pic' thread....

Hi all, will be a sunny whatever today. Yesterday it was baking by 9.30 am. Consequently got nothing done

Ran out of water last night. Pumping site still 4 foot underwater.

Daughter has made cupcakes for her friends so brother is taking her in to school and then he and I will be inspecting the snake infested bank with pipe fittings (never the right ones) and hacksaws, and plenty of vocabulary. The air may be warm, it will also be blue - wish us the best of luck!

Another day off and hoping to get 4 days worth of work done. I'll be in to the rant thread later to complain of all I didnt get done. And hopefully the happy thread to report water travelling uphill.

Hello to the puppies, and everyone is already cranky and pushy in the supermarkets. TG I don't do much Christmas shopping! Get a couple of food items on payday and then hibernate till after Christmad day...you'd think they were stocking up for a 3 yr food drought!

I have to say that this year there is serious congestion in the shopping arena - don't remember it being this bad this early before!!!

I usually Xmas shop in a very distracted manner - a bit here and a bit there - but every time I go into a shop I think it is so crowded and frantic I had better get stuff sorted sooner!
Whooops - now what are the dogs getting up to?

              Mornin Flo'nall !

...you lot catching up on beauty sleep?

No idea what the weather is doing out there...it's pitch black, cold, and can't hear any rain!
This time next week the days will be getting longer!

Not sure quite what to do today...you know when you have about 5 big jobs you have to do, and really don't fancy doing any of them?...well, that's where I am at the moment!
....what I REALLY fancy doing is making the wreaths for the front doors ( we have 4 front doors!)

Hope everyone has a good day

Morning Nicos and everyone who is looking in. Dark here too, but seems quite mild. You know Nicos, a little of what you fancy does you good. Have a good day

That's a really cheery thought for a grey December morning, thank you, Nicos!

Do one 'orrible job, then a wreath, then another 'orrible job, then another wreath etc etc.

                      • Sorry - morning all!

Busy day shuffling files here, but going for a gym taster session at lunchtime. I am not a 'natural' gym bunny, but then again I'm not a 'natural' runner, and at least the former is in the dry/warm. Just looking for membership till the end of April when it'll be nice to get out in the fresh air in the park again.

I've got to nip out this morning. But first I need my coffee to make me function properly before I move anywhere.

                          • Morning! A lovely sunny day today.

Back from the vet with Petal. She has had her second set of vaccinations and the vet says we only have to wait another week for her to go out!

                              • I can't wait to take her along to the park to meet all the other dogs - she is used to Rosie but she hasn't met any others since she came to me! She tends to cower and tremble a bit when she is taken out - but she will soon perk up I am sure.

I just have visions of coping with a very strong Rosie on the lead and a very diffident Petal on another lead!
