I'm on cupboard clearing again - how many pots of really old chutney can a body have?? Tell me that 2010 chutney will be ok to eat!?

So long as you are of sound body and mind , I'm pretty sure you'll be fine!

            • Anyone else up yet? I'm on my second coffee I hate early mornings unless it's summer and I can go out. Dark and wet out there...

              • Morning Scarlet I've been up since a quarter to six. Finding it hard to get motivated this morning, it's dark and cold here too. Haircut later thank goodness - I can get rid of the ribbon. I very nearly borrowed Bren's pot. Have a good day All

                • Umphhhh, finally heard back from the owner of the cottage we rent, near son up in Yorkshire Leeds/Bradford, it has suited us and have had brilliant family times there, as it was big enough for all of us to have fun/meals etc, I' cooked huge meals there, and was only 5 mins from where they live. They are no longer offering it as a holiday rental, real pity for us. We were planning to go for long weekend in Feb. lots other super cottages but too far from them to be convenient for short stay. Now do we go back to a certain 'hotel chain'? Wish we had holiday cottage 'up there'. Umphhhhh!

                  • Oh ek its horrible out there - but at least it's light ish now. We were planning on going to the lottie but I don't think I fancy the horizontal rain, screaming winds and threat of snow this afternoon.
I hate to admit it but now I#ve reached a certain age I seem to have become a fair weather gardener.

                    • Morning all!

It's dark and gloomy here this morning, forecast for brighter and colder this afternoon.

I have lots more tidying up to do yet at the allotment, but nothing that can't wait until the weather is a little kinder, even if it takes a couple of weeks for that to happen.

In the meantime, I've cupboards to build.

                      • G'Moooooooornin' Peeps! Dull and dreary here today, with the threat of worse to come.

                        Quarter to six, Flo!? Nutter!

My lovely Hubby came home with a new mag!c m0use for me yesterday, bless 'Im, so I'm back to my normal slow pace on the spreadsheets, instead of yesterday's 'wading-through-treacle' pace. I've just found a charging dock for the little beauty, too, so I don't have to keep remembering to charge batteries.

                        • Good morning, I have been up once but decided to go back to bed when the OH went to work. Wet, dull and windy here today. Got to wait in for a delivery. OH said it could be either today or tomorrow when it comes. No coffee for me today, I've decided I am cutting down on my calories and try and loose some weight. Have a good day.
