Lottie - unfortunately not - I did get 10% off my 3 bags which brings the cost per litre to just under 5p but I was hoping to get at least 20% for a bulk buy

Looking for bulk buys on the Internet has not produced the bargains I had hoped for once delivery charges, are included - in fact a rival stores large bags on a 15% off day have been marginally the cheapest I have found so far, again at just under 5p per litre. I will get 3 bags from there also to test the quality.

I do have a contact at another local garden centre where I have been promised a good deal but I have yet to go in and discuss the fine detail and was checking out the competition before doing so, also a lot depends on the quality of the product - I have generally found Verve to be of a reasonable quality whereas some other of the cheaper products have been quite poor and full of twigs.

We promised the membership we would look at buying bulk at the AGM so have to finalise our findings soon

            • Have had a rubbish day.
Went to the council and put our name down on the housing list. Found out we could be waiting 3 to 5 years for a house. There is such a demand for housing around here and we just have to keep bidding.
Went to nearly every shop possible to find some angelica for my mom. Couldn't find any at all. So rang my mom up to tell her and ended up listing the shops I'd been to.
Still waiting for my seeds to start germinating. No sign of life out of them yet
              Just very fed up
