Afternoon from a truly soggy and windy West Coast of Scotland. Hopefully to clear up later this afternoon...fingers crossed! Lawn is too soggy to walk on and the boys (dogs) are not too happy about it!

Hope your head's better in the morning, Carrie.
I've had a nice evening as it is Wednesday night pub night - now off to bed with Domino cat and his supper - I'll try and complete the Telegraph crossword which I had an epic fail on earlier.
For the record, despite looking over my shoulder for a sneaky cuddle (if no one is looking ) Domino cat is of limited help with the crossword. Mind you, I suspect that he is brighter than he looks, and if I only left the biro top off, I might find he'd filled in the rest by morning..........

Good morning.
My head is a lot better thanks Hazel. I've had to put my glasses on, I think it's coz I was on here all morning and I didn't have my glasses on.
Dull and miserable here today. Not much to do today, I tried making some lamb stock yesterday but I ended up burning it :/ Then my cheesecake went wrong ha!Carrie

Dont mention glasses. I took mine out yesterday to put them on only to find there was a missing piece.
This is the second time this has happened. I was lucky the last time i found the glass but this time its gone. More expense.
And when your back stops aching,
And your hands begin to harden.
You will find yourself a partner,
In the glory of the garden.

Happy Friday Grapeys Quite cold here and damp. Just the sort of day to have another mooch around the local HomeBargains - see if I can find more dwarf peach trees. At £4.99 they're blummin luvly. This could be the start of my dwarf fruit tree orchard - with trees that I can actually reach Before you make rude comments - they're about 3-4' tall - I'm fine with a stepstool
Have a sooper day everyone - whateffer the weffer!
