I downloaded ABP add blocker a couple of weeks ago and its wonderful. But now adds are creeping in again! only the side ones so far. Can do anything about this?

Select it and follow the instructions for each ad you want to block

Well so far I've sat and had breakfast with son no2, very nice actually as they don't often have time to chat these days .....but he scuttled off when the dishes needed clearing!!

Morning, another lovely day here today! Neighbours have finished building their extension but have places their bins in front of their house...right outside my living room window. How can I diplomatically tell them to move the bleeding things?!!

That's difficult perhaps wait it out for a couple of weeks and every time they use it watch them. They may eventually realise they are in the wrong spot. It could be temporary?

OK I was thinking (that explains the swollen ankles and spotty rash then) whether it could be an idea to have a section on the Vine for 'Free Stuff'. I know many grapes use the recycle sites and if they spotted anything that someone might use or need they could post it on here for us all to have a look at.
For example this morning I spotted a 20x16 greenhouse, perfect nick, a wooden potting shed, a few slab adverts, 6 large containers and an old bath. All of these were within a radius of 50 miles of me.
The point is there are other grapes within that range who might need all or some of this stuff so what do you all think?

These ads change so quickly - often freebies have gone before you see them. I keep an eye on Freecycle/Freegle and Gumtree locally and things are snapped up within minutes.

VC I know you are right - its a pain when things vanish as quick as they do. Hey Ho. Oh that greenhouse would have been brilliant - there would have been room for Mr Lump to move in to it and still have space for the toms.

I've had a lean-to GH, coldframe, lots of seeds, plants including an olive tree............can't remember everything. I lurve "Free"

When we filled in our pond and removed some shrubs they were soon snapped up on Freecycle.

Evening all, got things growing in my garden. Carrots, lettuce and spuds are all up. The seedlings in the bathroom are getting leggy, don't think the cucumbers will make it.
Happy days.
Diets going well ish, no biscuits for two days and hubby has agreed not to buy any more

Managed an hour or so at the plot this afternoon. Trouble was it wasn't very relaxing as the two couples near me, who are neighbours, have to talk in really loud voices. I'd like to listen to the birds not them. Noticed one plot had been planted up with courgettes, cucumbers and pumpkins, all less than 2' apart and not a hint of fleece anywhere. Be interested to see what they are like when I next go up.
Dad is much better after heart op, is allowed to drive again and heart has sorted itself and doesn't need a reboot. Trouble is he is as short of breath now as he was before the op. Still only a month of recovery time so a way to go yet.
