Afternoon all, been a bit busy today and then had the plumber in this afternoon. Scarlet, thought you would like to know the radiator has been fitted and is perfect...thanks again for pointing me in it's direction!
It was quite dull this morning but the sun is now shining and the temps are a dizzy 18 degrees! Summer? Off to sit in the garden, for the first time in ages, with a nice cuppa! Hope you have all had a good day!
Oh Carrie, hope your back is better soon!Last edited by Jay22; 22-06-2015, 04:41 PM.sigpic

Hi I feel I have missed you all. Been so busy with work, golf and cooking exhausted by end of day. It is dull here and it rained. Must feed my plants this morning before I go to work. Busy week this week. Hoping it calms down soon, I am supposed to be semi retired with feet up! Yeah!
Have a good day everyone.

It's a nice bright day here and the weather is set fair for the rest of the week. The only must-do job I have for today is to get my mother a birthday card. Happy days!
Hope everyone is ok and enjoying life today.

Morning All Seem to have spent most of this morning grazing on strawbs, mangetout and a few raspberries. Love this time of year when there's plenty to nibble in the garden
Orf out in a mo to collect a Freecycle wooden gate - to strengthen the puppy defences. I knew it was a mistake giving the pups strawberries - they're diving into the picking bowl and running orf with the biggest ones
Have a sunshiny day everyone

Sunshine has finally worked its way to us.Got strawberries and spuds to pick for tea later.
Been putting my potato haulms chopped up in compost bin. Good idea or not? Have goggled it, but no definite answer there.
What do you guys do?Last edited by Nannysally99; 23-06-2015, 02:08 PM.Nannys make memories

Hello NS and a good afternoon to you too!
I tend not to put anything spuddish into the compost bin as the crafty little bluggers start growing again. The first time I had this my dalek was full of very long, white wormy shoots that were all connected to peelings and took ages to remove before I could use my compost.
VC try giving your tearaways a bit of blue cheese and if they like that then I know they are all related to our old Australian collie who had an addiction to both strawbs and stilton.
Hang On - I'm off as the sun has just come out........I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work. Thomas A. Edison

Reply to Updateby cariann88Went to the plot yesterday and discover someone has removed all the grass from outside my gate(Another plot neighbour did this for me)
Started to clear the path down the side of the beds and at the end I discovered a compost bin and an apple tree. I can now get to the pond.
Another plot...5 PhotosToday, 11:40 AM
