Let me tell you a little story. Are you sitting comfortably?

Once upon a time (about 2 weeks ago) a gardener went into the Greenhouse and spotted a clump of seedlings in the bed, just where they had grown some garlic earlier in the year.

Carefully they lifted the clump, split the seedlings and potted them up individually.
They were watered and cosseted until today, when the gardener (whose sense of taste and smell were returning after a winter cold) decided to have a little taste of a seedling.

Expecting to taste garlic, they were somewhat surprised and embarassed to realise that they had been nurturing....................
