Our twelve pound free range turkey cost 46 euros, thankfully my brother paid for it. Apparently it was delicious but I'm veggie and didn't eat any of it.

Neither myself or OH particularly like turkey so we really pushed the boat out this year and had a small fresh turkey crown from Aldi for £8.70!

Just enough for me and OH plus a sandwich for supper.

Parsnips and carrots were from the allotment

Talking of small birds, the budgie died Christmas day so it was a toss up which one made it to the oven!

Litle Kes will be taken and buried with all due ceremony under a gooseberry bush at the allotment tomorrow.
