I've got the opposite problem, strange when you think that the moon is 238900 miles away and my bamboo only 2 miles
I've, ahem, tweaked your photo to bring the moon out a bit more.

AM just trialing another pic size on the phone,these are the prunus in our garden,taken March 14 2017 at aprox 10 past 10 am.
