I did have an Uncle Ernie, he didn't have a big nose, from my memories, he had a bike.

Son snapped the top set of his retainers last week...so yesterday it was a trip to the orthdontist for a moulding. Had to pick them up this afternoon with a £70 price tag Well, this morning in my mad dash clean up I accidentally threw the bottom retainers in the bin, son asked where had they gone just as the dust lorry arrived another trip to the orthdontist and pay the bill for the two £140. They had a laugh at my story but I think they felt sorry for me when I paid the bill. Ten mins after leaving the dentist they called to say that they would refund £70 as he's had them less than a year thank you! Thank you!

What makes me happy? Well, the sun was shining today, although I only managed to appreciate it when I nipped out for a paper at lunchtime, and the rhubarb wine from last year really is rather good (and doesn't need lemonade )

My youngest son who has Aspergers, learning difficulties and just loads of problems amazed us and his teachers by doing his mocks recently and getting a B for history a B for English And a B for geography! And that's just the results we've had so far.
It's brilliant not because we are desperate for him to do well, just because he can do it, he did do it and it's wonderful for his self esteemThe best things in life are not things.

The sun must be shining on me this week. After my refund from the orthadontist, my book order (art books for the kids research for their art portfolio) arrived yesterday. I bought a dozen second hand copies so they could be cut up (old library books) although somehow I managed to order a new one for £7 that was a duplicate I've just been onto Amazon to send it back...got a refund and I don't need to return it!? How does that work? Happy any way!

Had a voicemail from company I've been interviewing for recently for two jobs to call back. Got excited and hopeful it was first preference job (had 3 interviews) as they said they'd be in touch this week.
Turns out it was to discuss arrangements for 2nd interview for 2nd preference job and send me more info re job benefits - that'll do for me for now!
Please can you all cross fingers for me, I could do with some good luck?!
