Been to allotment and found out I have a family of Robins moved into a box I put up last year Suddenly realised such a simple thing could make me happy. Sat on my bench in the sun with a cool drink watching the parents going backwards and forwards feeding the chicks. How perfect.

Imagine the scene - sitting alone at 3.45 last Wednesday. Mooching around the river Ama - spotted cd's - ordered a couple - arrived today. So, I have 3 Rock and Roll, 5 1970's, 5 1960's, 4 Motown, 1 Country (I particularly like Marty Robbins Gunfighter Ballads) and wait for it.......11 Heavy Rock. They were all in different boxed sets.
Oh happy days and memories of a lost mis-spent youth.

I am happy I have gained a day. I had been convinced it was Wednesday all day. Only just realised it's only Tuesday and I have an extra day to fit everything in.

Even better we're going to get some rain at the weekend, much as I love the sunshine my heavy clay plot is turning to concrete.

Haha - that's me on a Friday night stupidly late when BB sends me off on a wild Utube vid chase of songs of my yoof, and then another and another ... if I forget the ball of string in midsummer, it's light before I get to bed....
