Is it Pentney NVG ?
Take the kids to Hunstanton for evening fish & chips, eat them in the cliff top car park & watch the sun setting, it's the only place on the Eastern coast where it goes down over the sea.He who smiles in the face of adversity, has already decided who to blame

Some people know how to make my day.
My man called at a new clients this morning to repair her boiler.
I received the following text.
Hello Michael has just been. really pleased with the service. He was professional, polite, efficient and gave a great explanation of the problem-- didn't use any jargon and make it complicated. Very many thanks I will recommend your company signed......

Today was a day off college and I have not been the happiest of bunnies - timetable getting mucked around and general January blues. So instead of studying, myself and a friend did some retail therapy - buying the TLC plants in garden centres and DIY chains.
Carol bought half price standard lavender, Agave, Bromeliads and something else that I cannot remember, all for £14. The pot the lavender is in weighs a ton, as I have just carried the thing up to Carol's front door. There are 28 steps upto Carol's door yes I did count
I got an electric propagator plus seed trays and a variety of cloths (all tucked up inside the propagator) for £6, half price standard bay tree (in another mega heavy pot but I have no stairs), Agave £2, Bromeliads, Kalanchoe in Christmas bowls 50p each bowl (there are about 10 plants in each bowl, so will be split up at the weekend) oh and a free 6 x 8 greenhouse.
I am now tucked up at home warm and toasty, outside not so toasty. I hope all you guys get home and get tucked up before the bad weather gets a hold.Last edited by FROSTYFRECKLE; 14-01-2015, 04:43 PM.

Four and a half hours work in the garden yesterday - the longest since August 2013.
Should pop over to the rant thread as lots of bits are sore today, but I don't actually care.Le Sarramea https://jgsgardening.blogspot.com/

Well went shopping yesterday and bought some more seed potatoes, some red roosters, a reduced African Violet down to £1 and an air plant on an ornament was meant to of been £29.99 but got it for £5.
I think I am nearly sorted with my seeds for this year now. Think I could do with some lavender plants for the allotment and home. But do have enough seed potatoes now
