  • As our electric package was about to run out I have managed to do a deal which means we pay £23 a month less than we were. Its amazing how quick an offer appears if you mention that another company has a better deal.
Oh that reminds me that I will have to do my 6 monthly satellite TV haggle, which normally involves me demanding to be switched off, soon. Another half price package done and dusted.

    • My Mom and Dad are going on holiday tomorrow. Don't actually know if this should be in the rant thread. It means that my mom can't ring me everyday but hey she will try.
Sunday to see how much cake she had left from the country market
Monday to see if I have picked any left over cake up.
Tuesday to see if I have watered their plants
Wednesday I might be phone call free.
Thursday to see if I have watered their plants again.
      Friday they are home.
Why am I happy. Well it gives my dad a break away from everything especially after the past few months with all his tests. Also if my mom is on the phone nagging at me then she is leaving him alone.
Just hope their weather is nice for them.

      • Pressies Was given a loganberry plant today; very exciting... not least because I've never heard of or tasted loganberries. Nor have I grown fruit before. WooHoo!!

            • I've got a beetroot. After getting fed up with several packets lurking in my seed box I mixed them all together. I planted out about 50 seeds and 1, yes 1 has appeared. I am so excited as I don't know if it will be red, stripy, yellow or white. Mind you the tiny plant could also be a weed!
