My Mum, sounding like my mum again on the telephone after being ill for a very long time

Making dinner where nearly everything was from my plot. A basic dinner but I had. Sausage and mash with veg (broad beans, kale, spinach, beetroot tops, onion and garlic).

The sausages were the only thing I didn't grow and my 4 year old daughter ate a ridiculous amount of potatoes because daddy grows good spuds...

I finally bought the graphics tablet that I've been wanting for months!

Sharing my own grown stuff with others. My mom had some more strawberries and potatoes. Next door neighbour had some potatoes, beetroot and some radishes. He was very pleased as they were having a BBQ and he was going to add them to his, in his words, boring lettuce

My granddaughter visiting, going out back with her dad only to return with the words "Granddad you know your strawberries are so much nicer than shop bought and bigger too."

Yay! Getting in touch with the person who adopted Rosie my springer's littermate, Drum - a gorgeous boy - and finding out what great dogs we both got from the rescue centre. He looks so like his sister and sounds just as full of character
