That the kids dressing up day went really well. Han as a gardener , everyone thought she was a cowboy, and Will as a farmer.
Sad thing is Han was asked to stand up and tell everyone what she had got in her gardening bag. Several members of her class failed to believe or grasp the idea that we get fruit and veg from seeds. Thank goodness I didn't let her have one of my seed potatoes that really would of confused them.
But I am happy that they have both had a good day and enjoyed picking such unusual things to be.

I bought my seed potatoes today so it feels like the start of the growing season.

Visit to opticians, first for 10 years, golly things have changed. Puff tests, internal pics of your eyes, couple of other tests and I have yet to reach the optician.

Only 3 days to go until the allotment shop opens for the first time this year and I can get my seed potatoes in!

Mr PP has finished the upgrade of our weather station, so I now know that my soil temperature is 4.5 degrees.

Our Son in Law to be has made an appointment to see my Husband to see him to ask for our Daughters hand in marriage.

An elderly relative who first of all had a knee replacement and then broke a hip finally is fit enough and has enough confidence to go to town on her own to meet a friend for coffee.

So glad that she's got some independence back. I'm sure she'll be so much happier now.

Nearly losing my fingers as the birthday boy eats king prawns with absolute relish - that cat has learn't no manners in 16 years (and has a big softy mummy!)
