  • Bagging a telephone interview next week :bottom wiggle dance:

    • My beautiful, funny daughter has rallied from what I thought was a downer and we are going for tea. I have made a big shepherds pie and done all the veg to take with us. When she's fragile, I try not to put too much pressure on her. And my little GG went into a panic when her Mum said she was cleaning the bedrooms today. We had hidden Mothers Day presents in two different bedrooms, and being only 8, she didn't quite know how to put Mummy off lol

      • Cats who come home.

Not, (obvs ), when they are called, or when it's supper time, or as usual - but who come home nonetheless.

One of my Daughters cats, Max, roams a lot. So she bought him a tracker to wear, and he does. She can be seen wandering round the village gently calling 'Maxie' quite frequently. At least the tracker puts her in the right direction lol

My BiL sends texts to my Hubby asking him to call because it saves him money.

                        • It's been a manic couple of weeks because of college but good manic. A few of us from the class have decided we will design a garden for Gardening Scotland 2016 - it's going to get even more manic from now on. Also spent last week clearing an herbaceous border of rampant brambles - guess how many scratches, nicks and holes I have on my skin! I thought by now I'd have lost a few pounds with all of the exercise I get - nope but I think I've gained a few. As a class we are very good at gulping down mugs of tea and nom nom biscuits

                          • Walking out the door this morning to see a bench made especially for me for my garden by Mr V, with two hearts carved on it and red and gold ribbons tied on it! I was totally overcome!
