Oh we get on but we are totally different. She lives just outside and works in London. Not a very hands on person more organising people. Picked up four 4mtr scaffold boards today for nothing....plot holder got them in the summer but as decided he doesn't have the time, I got the boards and another plot holder the greenhouse.....thank you

Was having a wander round the garden and looking at the winter casualties and found an auricula I grew from seed last year about to flower. Never grown them before so well chuffed. Although I am waiting for someone to say it shouldn't be flowering yet

Whey Hey - the seeds I planted in pots and put in the porch are actually growing even though I over watered them, left the window open the night it fell to -4 and regularly make them share their floor space with the wet washing on a clothes horse.

Just back from college - cold, wet and happy. I do mooch a bit while there so I've come home with Acanthus roots so that I can take root cuttings and Aloe Vera plantlets to pot up. Also bits of a plant to pot up - think the common name is donkey tail (or something similar). And I've managed to dunk Biscoff biccies in my tea without any probs
