Seeing a hummingbird feeding whilst we were on a walk in Las Vegas, course we had no camera with us. It was a magical little moment

Was it in the habitat at the Flamingo? That's the only place in Vegas that I've seen them, although I'm sure there are others...

Found 4 matching huge tablecloths the exact colours I wanted half price ....4 for €19... ( already at a reduced end of line price! )...perfect for making either curtains,cushion covers , bags....the list goes on!

Housework done, sun shining, courgettes & Q's watered, 3 sleeping dogs (we have the daughters dog Poppy, who we call Ploppy because she's rotund), OH out till 4 and my book just turned up in the post - OH dear shall shall I do next?

Yep - Ploppy, because she lies downs and there is a very distinctive plop noise as her midrift flops down on the floor. Poor thing she has a thyroid problem that is difficult to control.

No Martin, we were walking to Ellis Island, the road beside Bills. Just a random bush of orange bell like flowers. Never seen any in the habitat

I have a shed load of broad bean flowers at the allotment. Have found those planted direct into the soil have done better that those started in pots and rolls.

Having just done an hours weeding and come in to cool off ( nothing like PP's temperatures I'm sure!)...
I'm happily waiting in anticipation of the heavy rainfall and storm we're supposed to be having at about 5pm!


I love the good flash and bang and torrential rainfall storms we have here ...brings out the kid in me!
