  • Taking my GG home to her Mum yesterday, happy and sad if you see what I mean.
Had a great week with her, had my ears bashed till they bled, did cooking with her and secret tea meetings in the new shed, just for starters.
So it's kind of sad when she goes back, but I am happy to get all of my bed to myself. And my brain .....

      • Another village show acheived

And I gained a loaf of bread, 3 figs, a jar of blueberry jam, a jar of roses, a bottle of red and a funky metalwork dragon candle stick

None of my entries won, but hey I did organise it and it was lovely seeing everyone enjoying themselves

            • Peanut Butter sarnies.

Comfort food, after dog-walking over an hour in torrential rain. Every single item of clothing was absolutely saturated - even through my jacket. My jeans are hanging over the shower rail, and are still dripping.

I do genuinely believe I've actually been drier in the ruddy bath!!

But comfort food makes it all ok though.
