              • Getting my 'Dear John' letter from the Hospital this week (I don't want to see you any more). Five years on and I can (hopefully) put it behind me. it's no longer all-consuming, and I actually go whole days sometimes without thinking about 'it' (even if I still can't say it - weird, huh!?). I guess I was extremely lucky that it was found and sorted in the early stages, but I still feel strangely guilty and very, very humble when I hear, or read about other folks and their struggles.

I tend not to talk about it - with anyone at all, but that's just my way - but occasionally something triggers it - like AP's post - and I start thinking about it again.

                anyway, I'm waffling/ Grub's ready so I'm off.

You already know you're one of my fav people on here and although I wasn't previously aware of your health problems (who would have guessed with your bouncey on screen persona?) I'm so happy to hear your good news. Sorry though if I brought up bad memories, that wasn't in my mind for anyone, I was just mightily relieved and expressing selfish thoughts.

                              • Discovering I'm in a clique apparently. Said so called clique comprises some very experienced gardeners whose pleasure is suggesting remedies for problems experienced by fellow members. Decided to be positive and put this in here rather than rant about it because the problem doesn't emanate from the so called clique but from someone who refuses to accept the root cause of her problems and then castigates those trying to help find a solution.
