  • Funky edging from Poundland.

While out shopping today I had a quick stop in Poundland to get some cheeky sweets and came out with 4 rolls of Bamboo edging.

I saw them and thought what a good idea to put round my new fruit trees. It'll keep all the mulch in place and protect the trees when I strim / clear that little patch they the trees are in.
Just need to paint them with preservative and then paint in bright funky colours for a little bit of fun.

Each roll is 1 metre in length and 8 inches high. I had a quick look on Poundland's website but they are not showing any online, just the willow ones :-( so I can't post a link to them.

DJ - been there got them. Went in for yet more Bombey Mix and managed to spend £14 on garden stuff and then forgot the BM mix. Hey Ho!

Must go and get some soon as. In Keighley, which you probably know BM, they have a Poundland AND a Poundstretcher, so I may have to investigate both...

Don't get me started on my Poundland gnomes - hideous little things with big sad eyes.

I bought a roll of this chicken wire last year, it's horrible to use and rusted very quickly, served it's purpose tho, used to grow mini cucumbers, also very short length.

Funny - that's what I just bought to put round the base of my new apple trees while they get established. We don't have a rabbit or squirrel problem - too many cats for that. We do have a cat problem though....

At that price & size it would be perfect for framing & drying onions on.
