help with a computer

While viewing the forum my screen went down to 50% I haven`t a clue what I did to cause this, so can anyone help me by telling me how to get back to to a full screen

click the button on the top right next to the X

The X will close your browser, the box icon next to the X will make it full screen again.

I press Ctrl and at the same time roll the mouse wheel.

Being a computer numpty , that's the one I can remember!!!

Nope, still have a small screen, looks like I will have to go buy a 21" one.

(Think it just the screen and window unchanged just alters the text font size.)

Which browser are you using? In Chrome there are three horizontal bars at the top right hand corner. Click there. Go down to "Zoom". Are you on something less than 100%? Might be under "Tools" on another browser.

Thanks for all the answers but I dont think I explained properly, I have a full screen it`s the writing that has reduced by about 50%


and whats the bar? there is no glass or bottle symbols on the screen

Which browser are you using? Basically you have zoomed out and need to zoom back in again. Afraid I'm off to watch tv now!

Try holding the control key down and 0 (zero)

In Firefox it's:
Ctrl + to zoom in
Ctrl - to zoom out
Ctrl 0 to reset
