  • Noooooooooooo!

Well, it goes like this - hubby has put up a new curtain track in the lounge. Whilst he was doing that I was "spring-cleaning" my kitchen. Walls done, splash-backs done, kick-boards done, worktops cleared of clutter etc., Then he said "whilst I have the drill out I will put up the new knife racks for you darling!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Noooooooooo! Drill is now whirring away in the CLEAN kitchen

I know that feeling far too well.
I grow 70% for us and 30% for the snails, then the neighbours eats them

Christmas Eve (when I was still married), I had to work until 12pm so I have only the afternoon and evening to do the last minute preparations for the family including dinner the next day with about 15 or more people.

In kitchen peeling veg, stuffing turkey etc. In comes a bloke with paint brushes and paint to decorate the kitchen! My ex actually thought it was a good idea to have the kitchen painted on the day before Christmas!

Actually we do it on purpose. I know it's wicked but it's fun...

I can remember about 30 years ago, my husband knocking the wall out between the kitchen and dining room. 'Twas about 5 days before Christmas ...... I went out in the morning with a wall and came back to such a mess.

On the plus side, at least there shouldn't be any grease for the dust to stick to!
Making holes in walls is a 2 person job - one to hole drill and one to hold the nozzle of the vacuum right under the hole
