Well, it goes like this - hubby has put up a new curtain track in the lounge. Whilst he was doing that I was "spring-cleaning" my kitchen. Walls done, splash-backs done, kick-boards done, worktops cleared of clutter etc., Then he said "whilst I have the drill out I will put up the new knife racks for you darling!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Noooooooooo! Drill is now whirring away in the CLEAN kitchen

Christmas Eve (when I was still married), I had to work until 12pm so I have only the afternoon and evening to do the last minute preparations for the family including dinner the next day with about 15 or more people.
In kitchen peeling veg, stuffing turkey etc. In comes a bloke with paint brushes and paint to decorate the kitchen! My ex actually thought it was a good idea to have the kitchen painted on the day before Christmas!"I prefer rogues to imbeciles as they sometimes take a rest" (Alexander Dumas)
