Snow here in Torquay is very rare, and that is a good thing if you ask me. However it does happen about every ten years, so I have put the rear prop shaft back on my freelander just in case. (Uses less fuel in front wheel drive only).
The wierd thing about snow is that I hate it yet love to see it (Briefly).
Roger we've got about the same amount of snow as you and it still coming down in big flakes.
My Mum (from Cumbria) had a saying "Big snow - little snow, little snow - big snow".
"I prefer rogues to imbeciles as they sometimes take a rest" (Alexander Dumas)
"It is neccessary to have wished for death in order to know how good it is to live" (also Alexandre Dumas)

We had snow start about 5pm last night. It seemed to snow, rain, snow and then rain again. So when we got up there has been nothing. Kids were a bit miffed.
I wish we had one thing or the other. There has been a thaw (heavy frost and ice yesterday) through the night and today it can't decide. Just had light rain shower followed by slush shower (it was trying to be snow) with sun trying to get through the cloud. There is a big yellow sunny haze showing.
It sounds like a weather forecast when you change the channels
