That bad at lunch time I recalled the chaps and cancelled their appointments.

Wouldn't you know it? It's now stopped, the suns come out and the roads are perfect.

I've been saying at work that I wanted frost, snow and cold weather. My garlic and strawberries need it.

                Blooming Snow

I just saw this little flower poking up from from the snow in tub on my decking.

Not very good ar remembering flower names, but its sure looks pretty.

We (finally) have a white garden. I doubt it will last, though, sadly.

I'm one of those really annoying people who LOOOOOOVE snow. I don't, however, have any time for the idiots and risk-takers who put other peoples' lives in danger.

Most wildlife adapts, and copes perfectly well with short spells of bad weather - far better than most humans do, anyway!

In my experience, cats, dogs, chickens, geese and horses, actually play in snow, just like children.

It snowed horizontally here for a while, but now the wind has dropped.

Nope, I love it too! Walking in it, driving in it, just watching it come down, especially at night. Very tranquil. It's a pain when it thaws a bit and then refreezes, becoming more ice than snow. But those first few hours watching the world turn white is great!

We've finally had a flurry of snow in East Surrey. Started as hail, turned to snow for about 20 minutes. Settled very briefly, then melted away within the next 20 minutes. In short, a tease. Disappointing.
