No mess bird seed

Can anyone suggest a no mess bird seed which is not too expensive? Can't see the grass in the garden for the husks left behind by the birds on the feeders!

Try suet bird feed there's usually no mess with that.

Is there one that you can stop an enormous wood pigeon from kicking about? He turns up every morning, kicks out the stuff he doesn't like, eats what he does like, then flies off! I've now put the feeder above the chickens so that everything he kicks falls in their run and gets gobbled up! He's a pain in the garden!
