    3. Buds on the daffs

    4. Rhubarb poking its fat pink buds up

    5. Lawn being taken over by spring flowers - and molehills

Just finished tidying up my back garden and the sun was on my back all of the time. Also got to hang my washing out for the first time this year. Spring is certainly close by

Not much happening with trees or flowers yet but I'm certainly thinking about warmer weather.

I went for a quick wander down the garden to see what I could see. I spotted
Bulbs starting to appear in tubs
                  Snowdrops
Ornamental Cherry starting to show a little bit of life
Ceanothus- Snow Flurries and Exochorda Snow White are both starting to be spring into life
                  Cobnut seems ok
                  Hebe seems ok to.
A lot of the birds seem very cheerful as well first thing in the morning to.
Don't think Spring is totally here as the rhubarb at home hasn't started to show any sign of life yet.

The evenings are longer and brighter, the sun is warmer and the birds are singing, what a wonderful time of year it is

Beautiful sunny day here. Still a bit of light at half five. Planted the fruit bushes at the allotment and had a good clear up in the garden yesterday morning. Warm enough to take my coat off.
