Bloomin eck, I think I'm gonna move South. You know how we are supposed to be about 4 weeks behind middle England, I think it will be June before we warm up .

Yesterday I found a slug and it did not have a thermal suit on - and so the daily battle, that keeps my well toned and regularly oiled body in its peak of flabbiness.

Saw the yellow tips of the gorse flower buds when I was running in the park on Saturday.

Snowdrops, crocuses, aconites all in flower. Bluebells, Daffs etc showing strongly.
Blackbirds getting annoyed with each other, general singing tempo and volume increasing.
And a pair of frogs getting frisky in the pond this morning (at its peak there will be 70+ doing a good piranha water impression)The cats' valet.

Took a sneaky peek in my old garden today - my snowdrops are gorgeous. Here in my new home the daffodils and crocuses are shooting well in their pots. I miss my garden

Spring does measurably travel Northwards, so I'm probably being more than a tad optimistic.
