I hope the delay is in telling you and not the C-section. It was almost a year ago I had my planned one and I was meant to have it first thing in the morning and I had it at 4pm. I know that doesn't sound bad but I wasn't allowed any fluids except a tiny bit of water for tablets. The theatre staff even told me I was dehydrated during the operation
Anyway fingers crossed for you all

Thinking of you Mrswadders. I hope mummy and baby are ok. I have been checking this thread all yesterday and this morning.
Will say a little prayer and keep everything crossed.

Children seldom misquote you. In fact they usually repeat word for word what you shouldn't have said

Congratulations !!
Without going on a tangent too much - in Hull a few years ago, when a newborn arrived, the family were entitled to a free tree, bush, perennial flower from the Council to mark the occasion. Unfortunately, due to cutbacks I don't think it happens anymore.
My two teenage girls have got a tree and a bush growing in their grandparent's back garden - and it has been great to watch both the girls and the plants grow each year.
It might be something for you to consider........because you're thinking of putting the kettle on and making a pot of tea perhaps, you old weirdo. (Veggie Chicken - 25/01/18)
