Digging for GOLD

My 4 year old granddaughter came to stop for a couple of days and as yesterday was fine she wanted to do some jobs in the garden. So i asked her is she wanted to help me digging for gold?
She knows i am a bit of torment, but finally agreed, so i got out the spade and went digging for gold nuggets... in the Artichoke bed.
She was dead chuffed to get mucky and find a bucket full of good size artichokes... but resisted the temptation to try some for dinner.

The problem is she soon gets bored. Her 6 year brother, Jack, who is autistic, never gets bored. Give him a pile of stones and hammer and he in his element.
