Can someone please explain the art of dunking without leaving bladdy biscuit in my coffee. You'd think I would have learned by now............maybe I should just ditch the Rich Teas.......

Well according to Peter Kay - it's all about the biscuit choice! Apparently Hobnobs (other oat based biscuits are available) are the SAS of the biscuit dunking world!
I'm sure someone has invented a lickle basket that you put your biscuit in and lower it into your cup. Then , if it disintegrates you can haul out the crumbs in your basket
Of course, I could be making this up - or perhaps you could invent one and split the profits with me
I agree with rhonsal in the choice of dunked biscuit is important - my abbey oaty biscuits are not a solid as shop hobnobs, so don't stand up to much dunking; on the other hand, my ginger biscuits (a recipe posted on here by Sarzwix some years ago) is a brilliant dunker.

It would have to be very fine mesh or the biscuit crumbs would drop through - you could experiment with a tea strainer, perhaps?
I'm sure all the ones I buy have an 'airline crack in 'em & there are biscuit fairies laughing their sox off at me...................Thanks Haze, I'll try Tea.

You could pour your coffee into a saicer and then float them off the edge and into your....hand, mouth, woolly hat or whatever.
p.s please check out the Peter Kay stetch on YT I literally wet myself watching it and then had to tell the assembled family I had spilt my coffee into my lap to explain the very soggy patch on the sofa.
Anybody recommend adult nappies?
I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work. Thomas A. Edison

Have to emphasise the last point, dunking in front of small children is a bad idea. My two year old is for ever trying to dunk things in my tea and not always biscuits the one time she dunked a biscuit and went to eat it..........well the look on her face........priceless......utter disgust!
