We are all-electric. Mrs H chose a hob which has 4 induction rings plus 2 ceramic ones.
Mostly we only use the induction rings, the instant control is brilliant. The ceramic ones get used for pots that don't work on induction, like our steamer.

It doesn't say how tall is is, but I calculate that "16cm diameter & 4.1 litre capacity" is 20cm tall which is about right. Mine is 21cm tall and 16cm diameter, which I would describe as "generous"

I'm on the lookout for a new frying pan myself... the last one; the rivets failed while doing the washing up and the handle just came off! Very glad that happened while it was full of soapy water and not sizzling oil!! Still, mustn't grumble, it had been used most days for the past 15 years at least.
It was a heavy stainless steel job. I'll be looking to get the same again if possible.

Quick tip for any new bird keepers: non-stick coatings (teflon being a brand name), are potentially poisonous to parrots. After awhile the coating starts to deteriorate and then gives off fumes when heated. I had a couple of baking trays and a muffin tray that I got rid off sharpish when I discovered this.
