^^^ Add in the Bottom Blue Bar and a visitor to the site would have little idea that there was a thread/forum. Probably think it was an advertising site and not bother to return.

I notice in the Screen Shots that folk have posted that their screens are showing about 26 pages for this thread. Mine is showing 6 pages because I have set the Posts-per-Page to the maximum - so I have fewer Next Page actions to perform, and I can read more posts before I have to goto Next page.
It may be a double edged sword for anyone on a portable device ... although if you read more pages you download more adverts / "fluff", so more meat-per-page might be slower to get each page, but then faster overall.
Anyways, if anyone wants to try it you need to go to Settings (from the top of this page) and then:
General Settings (in the left pane)
and scroll down to "Number of Posts to Show Per Page" (mine is set to 40 )
Dunno if this link will work, but if it does it will take you direct to that Settings page:

The other allotment forums I am on have at most one ad on a page. Am not sure quite why this site is so OTT on the ads. Without adblock I would not still be a member here, even though I really like the site and of course the VSP!http://mudandgluts.com - growing fruit and veg in suburbia
