Blue then Orange (now White) Side Bars

Yeh...I'd noticed that too Jay.
Half adverts on either side, and you can't see the small black bar on the right hand side to see where you are on the page.

When I was having chemo a few years back I had to walk down a hospital corridor painted exactly this horrible peach/orange colour, and now every time I come here I am reminded of it. I always thought it was an extremely unsuitable colour for a hospital, its unsuitable for a gardening forum too...or anything else for that matter!

Agreed, this is the cheapest, nastiest colour I have ever seen! Why choose a colour that doesn't appear in Nature for a gardening forum?

The orange is grim, but I do like the new layout of the top menu as seen on the tablet - possibly because mine is cheap and nasty with a very cracked screen which made it difficult to effectively select New Posts. Easier now for me, at least.

On my computer it's easy to deal with. I use adblock plus, leave all the text settings at default, have the browser in a window instead of full screen and reduce the width of the window until the orange disappears.

I try and avoid using the Android smartphone, it's just too hard zooming in all the time.

I've been doing that as well Martin its handy when I only need one page open but for modding using multi pages its difficult.
