It's not more important but it is important. We all enjoy this forum but I suspect it is a fairly small percentage who contribute financially by buying or subscribing to the magazine (I am a subscriber by the way). So if you want something for free you should be prepared to accept a little advertising to pay for it.Originally posted by Bigmallly View Post

On a completely different note, it was quite refreshing for a gardening forum to display an ad for something gardening related as opposed to Russian or Chinese women

Nice that it looks like it has been sorted - thanks all working away as site admin!
I do have 2 banner ads on the sides now, despite adblocker, but it's amazing how little I mind given that they are your actual gardening adverts. Shame I've got my tickets to the Edible Garden Show already...

As the coding issue is more complicated than first thought & so as not to spoil your enjoyment of the vine over the weekend Admin have temporarily removed the banner, when it returns the Hide button will perform as it was originally intended to, clicking it will hide the banner from all forums for a week at at a time.He who smiles in the face of adversity,has already decided who to blame
