Try Adblock Plus. That's what I use and its easy to enable/disable

Do you need Chrome to use that one? I got Ie

I only read it quickly but it seemed to say "You need to turn on IE's Status Bar to see the Adblock Plus icon and from there you can access the options" ... does that work?

(You do need Adblock Plus - there are other things around calling themselves Adblock or similar names ...)

Thanks for the nudge! I manned up and found out how to turn on the status bar

So now have Ad block back.
Have to look at some stuff on 4OD later so will allow that site, fingers crossed lol

...and moving the cursor gently along the top of the dark blue bar to find the hand to click on, does get rid of the blue bottom bar.

Only got that bottom blue bar for the first time today. Found the "click-spot" - Thanks, Thelma.
(It's about dead centre of the top of the bar).

Try AdBlock Plus - name is similar, product is different and, AFAIK, AdBlock Plus is vastly superior.
