Arson attack at Apiary -

On 15th February our allotment apiary was attacked. One hive was burnt to the ground and 5 others were doused in what the fireman said was thinners.
One hive was damaged because it was next to the fire.

I've set this page up to raise money so John can replace the hives he's lost.

We don't know yet if any of the doused bees still have a queen and are a viable colony still. It is too cold to open them up and find out. If not then we will also have to get new bees.

Gawd that's sick. Have you got new queens coming from other sites? My place is too far away probably, but I know the guy on our site needs to reduce the colonies he has as they are growing too quickly. PM me if you'd like me to find out when he's planning to do that.
