  • Peak Time for Grapevine users

I usually log on in the early evening, after work, and have noticed that we do seem to have a few insomniacs who post in the early hours of the morning. I can't seem to keep my eyes open after 11 but am usually up fairly early in the morning. As today's Sunday I thought I'd log on and see who's about. Just me and Pigletwillie at the mo but I wondered if anyone knows if there is a regular time-slot when the Vine is at it's busiest? Just curious.

I tend to find most people are on at weekend evenings, especially for the Sunday night chat. There are also lunchtime and bad weather blips.

Consider this a bad weather blip! Its now chucking it down here in Preston. Although went to lottie v early - did a bit of work whilst OH built a fence for me - it looks really smart! Very pleased! Bernie PS I try and log on as often as I can and for as long as I can!

As a bit of an insomniac I do surf in the early hours, my main time was and hopefully now between 7pm and 8pm when the Soaps are all on

Having fallen asleep in front of the telly, and having woken up late night, I tend to have a bit of a look around the site, like now.

Otherwise its if the weather is crap, can't do anything outside, and am reasonably up to date in the greenhouse/housework, will have a look round the site.

I find freecell a little addictive . I'm generally online early am (6.30-7.00) ish and if I'm able aout 9-10pm depending on fatigue levels, when I'm working and what else needs doing.

I do dip in and out at other times depending on weather, study, etc.

It is my birthday today but oh dear all my trailing tomatoes are snapping in all this rubbish weather. To late for seeds. I can buy them from thpson and morgan but I then have to buy a pack which includes courgettes, peppers and french beans. I do not have an allotment but my back garden looks like one. First time I have used this forum so any idea about tomatoes?

Have you tried your garden centre / DIY place, was in Homebase yesterday and they were selling the last of their plants off cheap - you may be able to get a bargain.

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?
