Hi everyone,

Today is very exciting, my daughter is in labour with her first child,(my first grandchild). I cant wait to meet him. Will let you all know the outcome.

A baby boy born at 2.45 yesterday afternoon. The labour went really smoothly my daughter needed no pain relief but did have to push for 4 hours because baby was rather large. He weighed 8lb 15oz and is beautiful. I was there for the whole thing and watched him come into the world. He looked a little startled and his head was squashed into a peculieur shape as he was trying to come out with the side of his head first not the top, but by the time we got home last night at about 9.30 it had gone down considerably. He is called Reece Mark and I am so proud of my daughter and grandson. Mother and baby are both home and doing well. Now the fun can begin.
