I do love Raymond Blanc though. I usually have to translate for my husband, his enthusiasm is fabulous, I've never tried his recipes though. I loved it when he said he wished he had a bigger mouth to cram more food in as its so good! : D
You may say I'm a dreamer... But I'm not the only one...

I'm an official nutter - an official 'cropper' of a nutter! I am sooooo pleased to be a cropper! Hurrah!

Have finally finished watching this series, mainly to clear some space on the planner! What I have been trying to find is a list of varieties that they grew. I expect they're in the book but reluctant to spend £10 even second hand to get a list.

Thanks for those. I was especially interested in the strawberry variety.

At Kew they were Sovereign, Buddy and Marshmello but they were eaten. Raymond wanted a couple of newer varities.

Ah thanks for that. I thought he was very restrained on finding the strawberries had been eaten!

Thanks for this recommendation - combines two of my favourite genres of telly, so definitely going to my "to watch" list.

It was on last March. Not sure whether it is still available on IPlayer.
