I enjoyed it, didn't really learn much but the food looked nice and the presenters worked well. Good Monday night TV.
Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.
Enjoyed the programme, but was Kate Humble eating wild watercress when she went in the water? I thought it was inadvisable to eat it wild, due to the possibility of fluke on the leaves.
Gawd I loved that! Am totally hooked - and not a show veg, forced flower tribute or congealed sauce in sight. Perfect.
I think the only thing forced was the rhubarb

Thanks for the headsup Carrie. I caught most of it.
Watching some of those concoctions though, I realised what a simple soul I am.
A plate of new potatoes, asparagus, maybe an egg on top with some rhubarb and custard to follow would suit me fine. I suppose that wouldn't make good tele (and there must be an accompanying book)
