As an ex-Catholic, I'm submitting to materialism and irreverence and "celebrating" with some tinnies of the black stuff (trying to save some dosh at the mo so pubs out of the question).
Mums gone back home to Dublin to celebrate/make a fool of herself, lucky cow.
It is the most beautiful sunny day here in the west, we are having a lovely day pottering in the garden, we can hear some of the parade in town when the music drifts our way on the breeze. And later we are going to have a homemade Irish coffee with a huge dollop of cream...yum!
It's been a lovely day here in county Down. Managed to get some chainsawing done that I've been meaning to do for ages - and brought the logs in under cover too.
