Looking through a letterbox!

With advertisements to the left of them and advertisements to the right of them. Advertisements to the North and South, how long will it be before the 'working' screen will be the size of a standard letterbox?

I know the site needs advertisers, but surely if the size of the ads drives members away this will be counter-productive. Please admin cut the size of the bloody things down

Tony, have you got adblock installed? It's a free download. Currently blocking 11 adverts on this page. There are various versions, mine's plain AdBlock. The ads within the content column are removed and the ones at the sides are reduced to 2 blue bars, hance the name of the thread.

The bar at the bottom should be closeable by waving the mouse around the top of it till the arrow turns into a hand. Click then and that removes the bottom bar for a week. Apparently it's going to be removed at the end of the month.
