Mines saying skellington instead of skeleton really had to think about what I was saying when I worked in school.
That brings back memories, my dad always said skellington too. He was a great bowls player, and could never get his head around the fact that there is no "r" in "pravilion".
Ooh caramac!
I lurve caramac. My husband searched and searched but couldn't get me a caramac easter egg anywhere....so he bought me some chickens instead
Another tangent.....and credit where it's due
When you have a disabled child, the Rowntree trust buy you practical things to make your life a little easier. One year they bought me a washing machine. Another year they paid for an extra adult to come on our holiday so we could take a carer...they even included a meal allowance and spending money for her.
So yes, definitely the BEST chocolate and sweetie producers in the world!
In our family we talk about that well known part of the body - your kneepits- can you work out where it might be? Was devised by my borderline dyslexic son who has trouble with word retrieval so would often improvise with words of his own.
You know the song 'wonderful world' well I was wailing it recently (in the garden, out of allll earshot) and you know how it starts, 'I see trees of green, red roses too, I see them blue for me and you...' and finally it dawned on me...blue?? why would you see them blue when they're supposed to be red?? Ohhh and argh...it's bloom not blue!! Honestly I'm such a twit but at least I finally worked it out haha!
