Accidental made up words

Do you ever mis-type a word and then look at the result and think to yourself that it should be a real word, it sounds so good? For example, in another thread today, I mis-spelled "sanitiser" as "snitser". What a delicious word. From now on, anyone I dislike (not a short list ) will be known as a total snitser.

Another example, for some reason my mum and I got into a discussion about handkerchiefs, and she said when she was a child they called them "snot-grabs", meaning, of course "snot-rags" ( sorry if I've offended anyone posh). But isn't "snot-grab" a far better and much more eloquent word?

So what words have you mis-typed and subsequently kept and used?

This wasn't a misprint, but still quite delightful. When my dad was surprised about something he used to gasp and say "suffering splogs!"

I'm sure no one else ever used that expression??

On a slight deviation - I don't seem to notice peoples errors I just somehow go over them knowing what they mean. However I have recently spent ages thinking what someone was on about and kept reading tomtato as tomato for ages

In our house we still use a few mispronounced words that our kids used when they were tiny.

Like "Rabiss" for Radish, and "Bisketti" for Spaghetti.

butterflies are flutterbies
celery is cerrelerriliy
a cup of tea is a tuptee

I could go on...we practically have our own language!
They aren't typing mistakes though, they are the mispronounciations of my children that we've absorbed and embraced.
We possibly have more than most families because our eldest has Down's syndrome....or perhaps it has to do with my natural inclination towards insanity....

Words I grew up with that spring to mind

Cracknel for pork crackling (although I think its a Norfolk thing just never come across anyone that says it )
Bunes for ribs
Ratatelly for ratatouille

I am sure there are more.However, I do think flutterbies is the better name at least they flutter, what has butter got to do with it

I used to work with someone who was convinced the walls were painted mangolia. (I think Mangolia might be next door to Kardashia but my Asian geography isn't great!)
