I've been recommended that peppermint and lemon balm and lavender do the same job so I'm having a goYou may say I'm a dreamer... But I'm not the only one...

Bog-myrtle may not be the best looking plant but is a good one to have, to keep the midge at bay,
some other thing you can do, is drink tonic water which is supposed to keep them awayit may be a struggle to reach the top, but once your over the hill your problems start.

We remember a trip to Keilder forest,a camp site,the darned things even got into the sleeping bags,never again,i doubt anything will control them blighters,they are a special breed,am itching just thinking about them,the kids complained to,sigpicAnother nutter ,wife,mother, nan and nanan,love my growing places,seed collection and sharing,also one of these
