Love the azalea/rhododendron display - and how on earth do you keep the slugs off your hostas?!
Also cracking backdrop in the last pic - where in the country (assuming you are) are you?
Hi Hazel
l live in south wales.
All my hostas are in pots so its easier to keep the slugs off, but l do of course use slug pellets.
Well l did before the blackbird chose to nest in the bower, once the eggs hatch sne is going to be a busy girl
feeding her brood, so l have removed all the pellets in various parts of the garden.

I just found an old post by Sarzwix that mat help ....
You can do a Blog on here if you want to 'have a go' without going through the faff of setting it up on another site. Just click on 'Blogs' on the green band at the top of the page. Down the left-hand side there are options to add to your own Blog. Once you've got going, there's an option for people to read your blog posts from your Profile Page, or there's a tiny link comes up on each of your ordinary posts, underneath your 'Location'.

So l will have another later.

Hi
Planted this apple tree couple of day's ago, Ellisons orange, bit dubious about the anaseed
flavour , however it's a nice shape to give me a bit of privacy at the front.
just behind the tree I have planted a couple of plums opal so can train them round the kitchen window
when l read up on plum tree opal, it stated that the best flavour from this plum, was to grow it this way
and of course facing due south, so we shall see how it goes.
